The Bushwick Starr relocated from its original Meserole Street loft to a newly built permanent home at 419 Eldert Street in Bushwick. The new venue provides purpose-built spaces for performance, rehearsal, and community gathering—expanding the theater’s role as a creative and cultural anchor in North Brooklyn .
LSTN Consultants provided acoustic design services focusing on supporting LEED v4 EQ 10 Acoustic Performance requirements as part of the project’s sustainability certification. The work included evaluating sound isolation, reverberation control, and background noise to ensure a high-quality environment for both performers and audiences. LSTN’s recommendations were integrated into the final design and LEED documentation, helping the project balance environmental goals with the needs of an active performing arts program.
