Located on the 13th floor of a historic midtown tower overlooking Bryant Park and the Empire State Building, Phase One Music Studios reimagines the classic New York recording environment for a new generation of artists and producers. The facility includes two large and two small studio suites—each with live, control, and isolation rooms—alongside podcast and production spaces, private lounges, and sound-and-light lock corridors designed for concurrent sessions without acoustic compromise.
LSTN Consultants provided acoustic design services. Our work balanced the demands of exceptional low-frequency control and urban noise mitigation with a design that preserves the open volume and natural daylight of the original loft structure. The result is a technically precise, visually open studio environment that delivers premier recording quality within the density and verticality of Manhattan’s creative core.
