LSTN partnered with Lea Architecture to support the transformation of Saint Anne’s School’s existing lower-level space into a new 1,800-square-foot Computer Center, designed to expand the school’s capabilities in technology education, digital media, and hands-on fabrication.
The program brings together a diverse range of technology-rich environments including computer science classrooms, fabrication and maker spaces, greenscreen and video production areas, podcast and audio recording studios, and 3D-printing labs.
LSTN provided acoustic consulting tailored for recording studios, classrooms, and maker areas so each supports its intended use. This included room acoustic design to support audio recording and critical listening for the audio spaces. Remaining spaces balance lively energy of fabrication and 3D-printing areas with the quieter needs of presentation, editing, and focused instruction.
LSTN’s audiovisual design focused on easy-to-use future-proofed technology and infrastructure for video, audio, and recording equipment. AV systems were developed to blend seamlessly with the architecture and to remain flexible as the school’s programs evolve.
