Maple Hill Central Residence Hall
University of Arkansas

The Maple Hill Central Residence Hall is part of the University of Arkansas’ transformative redevelopment of the Maple Hill residential district. The project will provide new student housing accommodations and shared amenities within a vibrant campus community, supporting approximately 1,400 beds across multiple residence hall developments. Common spaces, study areas, dining facilities, and student support amenities are designed to foster academic success and social engagement while enhancing the residential experience for students.

LSTN is providing acoustics consulting services for the project. Our work focuses on creating comfortable and productive living environments through careful consideration of room acoustics, sound isolation, and building systems noise and vibration control. Working closely with SCM Architects and Henning Larsen, we are helping establish acoustic design criteria for student rooms, study spaces, communal areas, and building systems to support privacy, wellbeing, and academic achievement.s.
